Support Deeds for their Needs: Order some fine wine!

The best gift under the Christmas tree: The DEEDS for their NEEDS wine package from Arendsig and VinoFortuna. Two delicious bottles of wine, nice to give, nice to receive and even more fun to enjoy. A portion of the proceeds will go to DEEDS for their NEEDS and will be used for the Humpty Dumpty Kindergarten in Tesselaarsdal, near Arendsig. We will provide a school lunch for the children and provide school supplies. So we can help the children towards a healthy start of their lives and provide them the first lessons in reading books. The two bottles of wine are of course festively packaged in a beautiful gift box. A package only costs 32 euros. Arendsig Chardonnay 2017
A nose of citrus fruit and green apple with undertones of tropical fruit. A delicious full-bodied and complex wine, which is above all also fresh with a nice aftertaste. A delicious wine with a fish dish!

Arendsig Cabernet Sauvignon 2017
A beautiful ruby red wine with aromas of berries and plums and something slightly spicy.

The Arendsig Cabernet Sauvignon is a full-bodied, red wine. The wine has a firm taste, but can also be called fruity with supple tannins. Delicious with a piece of red meat.

Arendsig
The vineyards of Arendsig are located in the Robertson Valley, about a 2-hour drive from Cape Town. A beautiful area, less touristy than for example Stellenbosch or Franschhoek and therefore perhaps also a bit more romantic, just a little more authentic.

The winemaker here is Lourens van der Westhuizen and he grows his wine on the farm that has been in his family for generations. He is a pioneer with a passion for his profession and has converted the farm – which was set up in the past for the cultivation of “table fruit” – into a successful wine farm, where he makes wines with a special character. Natural fermentation and as little human interference as possible during the vinification process are words to his heart and all this leads to beautiful wines that are definitely worth trying!
